"We loved the property! Feels so remote but you are super close to town to go eat and shop and enjoy why you came to Natchitoches. There are six beautiful cabins that are elevated up on the hilltop with plenty space between to have privacy. With a patio and a porch swing so you can sit and relax. It is definitely dog friendly, and there is a wonderful dog, I think her name was Addie, and I believe she adopted us while we were there and I would have taken her home except how could you take...

This condo was immaculately clean and the absolute perfect location, right on front Street, with a large balcony decorated inside and out for the Christmas holiday. "Photos inside are accurate. Home was fully stocked with supplies needed for our stay. House is set back on the property. If you are not familiar with the area you might have a difficult time finding it at night. Loved the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, perfect for elderly travelers. Host very, very accommodating. Would definitely recommend. "

"The first impression of the property was great! The beds were comfortable and just enough room for the 6 of us. We did have an issue with a couple of things. "Every year the ladies in our family pick a weekend in December to travel somewhere and see Christmas lights. This year we went to Natchitoches, LA for their Christmas Lights Festival. We stayed at A&A Lakehouse and we so happy we did! The location was perfect (close to downtown), clean, plenty of room for the seven of us and the host was so nice and very responsive. We plan on coming back for the 100 anniversary of the Christmas Festival and will MOST definitely try to book this property...

"House was very clean and comfortable. Cane River runs behind it and area was peaceful and beautiful. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s in the past and this was our favorite. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Snack basket and waters were very nice touches. Communication with owners was quick and easy. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others. "

"This home worked perfectly for our needs. We were there for a sibling reunion. The biggest issue we had was dealing with all of the stairs. The master bedroom is on the second floor and the two other bedrooms are on the third floor. We are all seniors so we had to minimize trips to our bedrooms. The hostess was wonderful and made us feel very welcome."

"The inside was beautiful, and all the necessities were provided. What we did not realize is that the location was on a regular street with locals living on each side, but we had no issues and the neighborhood was quiet. The only turn off was that on the front porch there was an old chair with an old table that had an ash tray and a bucket full of cigarette buds. Once you were inside you had that vacation feeling. It was also close to the plantations and about 10 minutes from Natchitoches. "

"House was as advertised. Fishing was great. We caught over 70 bream. Only one garbage bag was supplied. The dishwasher was broken. The TV in the main bedroom was not working right. These issues would not be particularly important except for the fact that the rate was $275 a night. Otherwise, the location, views and fishing were very nice."

"The pictures did not do the home justice. We were so impressed with how large the "mobile home" was. Two items that I failed to mention. There must be a smoke detector that needs new batteries - as there was a chirp and we didn't know where it was coming from. The shower knob in the first bathroom was loose, popped off and ended up spraying water until we were able to reattach. Otherwise, everything was GREAT!"
