"My Japanese Mother-In-Law, wife and daughter stayed at the hotel for one night. Through the food and morning buffet was good the room was not in good condition. They notice a rotten smell as well as the washroom was not cleaned very well. They actually changed rooms. Also the futon and bedding should be replaced. "

"Great place to stay in Matsue. Super close to the train station, an easy 15-20 min walk to the Castle District. Lots of good restaurants and konbini available nearby. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Hotel is very clean and well-run. A great place to stay."

"這是一家非常有歷史的旅館，很有昭和風情，保存得非常好，房間都是塌塌米鋪床的形式，和式茶几，一個人住空間剛好，方便大行李箱打開，離松江站非常近，旁邊就是7-11，好口碑的各式餐廳都在附近，慢慢散步十分鐘內就可以搭船去看松江城。價格又實惠，實在沒得挑，唯一的缺點是老旅館當然沒有電梯，但是服務人員會幫忙搬行李上下樓，下次還會再來松江，應該還是會選擇這裡。"

"When you first get there, it seems like it's a standard, up-to-standards Japanese business hotel. But...my request of having a corner and/or a room not in between two other active rooms was not honored. Then I got placed in a room next to the elevator. I didn't notice it at first, but I could hear the elevator noise going up and down ALL THE TIME. Either the elevator is faulty and/or the walls are too thin. I asked to change rooms, but couldn't as it was too late and full. So I was stuck with...

"Excellent location near station and many restaurants. There did not seem to be provision for separation of recyclables from general refuse within the hotel. The practice of using disposable cutlery and cups at breakfast is wasteful. A lot of plastic."
