"We were really disappointed that the pool bar etc was not open on xmas day - this was not mentioned at the time of booking, as well as we wanted to book in for the xmas day lunch but were advised a day or 2 beforehand that it was fully booked out....only offering pizzas on xmas day was really poor form. We ended up having to go to another resort for xmas day dinner and spend our money there."

"Where to start!! Stay at the Silky Oaks Lodge was truly a dream come true. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcomed and special from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect - very clean and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could need. Our view was in the middle of the rainforest with river views and total privacy. We enjoyed time on the patio together and the bathtub was heavenly. Every meal was delicious. Such a dream!!! "

"Our room was clean with a change of towels 4 days into our 8 day stay. We paid for a late check out but we were locked out by about 10.30am having to get someone across from Mantra Heritage with new key cards. Reception very rarely had someone in attendance and two out of three times the black phone hasn't been answered including the day we arrived. The pool was great with a sunlounge always available."
