The space
Enter to a light, bright and spacious open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area, large enough for all the family but still warm and welcoming, it's a real treat to enjoy a cosy evening infront of the fire after a busy day!
The fully equipped kitchen means that preparing a light lunch or full evening meal is a breeze whilst still joining in with the fun and games with the rest of the family!
The sitting room has comfortable sofas and a TV for streaming services. With double French doors filling the room with light, it's a lovely spot in warmer weather to curl up with a good book and enjoy the lovely breeze.
The master bedroom has a super comfortable double bed, plenty of storage space and dressing table.
Bedroom 2, a twin room again with good storage space.
The main bathroom has a good size walk in shower perfect for a relaxing shower after a long day exploring all our beautiful region has to offer!
The decking area with comfortable outside sofa is simply the best place for a relaxing morning coffee or evening glass of wine!
Kippford is a beautiful and picturesque village which is often visited by the local people of Dumfries & Galloway itself. A popular sailing village, small yachts are often moored in the estuary and the Solway Yacht Club often holds sailing events.
Known as the 'Scottish Riviera' it boasts some of the most expensive properties in the region!
There are fantastic coastal and forest walking opportunities with the Kippford to Rockcliffe round trip taking around 1.5 to 2 hours and offers incredible views.
For Golfers there is Craigieknowes Golf Course, a scenic 9 hole, par 3 course or Colvend Golf course, both only minutes from the property.
In addition the championship grade links course at Southerness is only 20 minutes away.
Dumfries and Galloway is a cyclist’s paradise. You can Ride the Coast, Ride the Uplands, Ride the South Coast 200 or choose Day Rides.
Dalbeattie Forest is one of the 7stanes cycling trails and in all there are over 17km of cycling trails linking Dalbeattie to Colvend, Sandyhills and Kippford.
Kippford has two fantastic restaurants at local hotels The Mariner & The Anchor which offer a wide menu from traditional pub food to seafood specials.

The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
