Place was nice. Close to a lot of places we went so we appreciated that. The only crazy thing that happened was the fire alarm going off at like midnight, it was not fun trying to get my kids back to sleep afterwards but eh it happens. Overall pretty good place to stay at, I would have loved to have coffee available, I went to the lobby a couple times and the pots were always empty.

The only major complaint was the TV in our room. Clicking the ‘guide’ button showed a list of available shows, but selecting Monday Night Football would switch to something else (?). even worse, we tried to watch a news program this morning…the guide listed many news programs (CBS, NBC, CNN, others) but each one opened up FOX news. Do you have a virus in your TV system?

Despite the fact that we arrived at 5pm, our room was not available then. The room was dark, no lights in the "living room" area. Theres was a fire alarm at 1am during our stay.. Front desk called me at 2am telling me they are cancelling my room reservation... I was already there asleep in onenof their rooms...

I’ve got to say I’ve stayed at this location a few times and they must have done some upgrading because the room was nice and aesthetically pleasing than last time. Comfortable and clean. The fire alarm did go off in the middle of the night which scared me haha Other than that I had a very nice stay and would stay again as well as recommend this hotel. Hotel shuttle is always awesome too.

I am leaving this review after what I consider an abnormal travel situation, but it is my experience from this hotel on this particular evening. I was able to book a hotel room at the last minute due to a change in my flight. The attendant at the front desk could not find my reservation for about 10 minutes, even after asking if I booked through a 3rd party, which I did. The hotel room doors are LOUD. I could hear everyone around me coming and going from their rooms, so I know they could hear me as well. Adding to all of this was the fact that the fire alarm sounded at 11:15 pm so everyone had to evacuate outside. Again, the attendant at the front desk looked completely unbothered and did not get up from the desk in the midst of all of this. Just sat there, watching everyone scrambling around. About 25 to 30 minutes later we were allowed back in but given no explanation as to what occurred. I heard from another guest that it was a "false alarm." Also, that fire alarm is obnoxiously loud. I know it has to be, but my God my ears were ringing. After that sleep was impossible, but that doesn't surprise me given my ringing ears. I have had a pleasant experience at every La Quinta I have stayed in prior, this was my first time staying at this one, so I'm confident this was a one-off experience. But honestly I would have slept better if I had gone to the airport, 12 hours before my flight.
