"Beautiful chateau in rural France with lovely gardens and good walks in the surrounding countryside. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere continued throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean as were the restaurant and lounge area. "The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. The manager, who greeted us, was very friendly, helpful, and even insisted on helping us with one of our bags going upstairs. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant opposite that's associated with the hotel. Food was excellent both...
