"The one reason to stay here is it is walkable to the Catalina island boat landing if you are planning a day trip there (which is why I rated it a 2 rather than a 1) The hotel itself is very run down and poorly maintained. For example, the elevator inspection is expired, the breakfast is mostly stale and the walls in the shower were coming apart. "

"Beware before you go - Marriott did not disclose construction- main pool is closed , we were put in a room facing garage, and bulldozer obstruct view of ocean- it was so disappointing"

I am almost hesitant to leave this review because I want to keep this a secret, because we will absolutely be returning and for a longer stay next time! "
