"Received proper documents for check in. Was simple to access the key card. We had a bit of difficulty finding the office but it worked out. Only hiccup was our room wasn’t ready until 4:00PM. Was quite hot and we wanted to get inside seeing check in was 3:00PM. "

"Unit was in a quiet area and beat the pool. Loved hearing the waterfall. The kitchen was stacked with all the essentials. Beach towels, drying rack, dishwasher fluid, washing machine pods. "This was my wife’s and my first time in Curacao. Avila made it a wonderful experience due to its amenities, location, and staff. Property had two private beaches with plenty of chairs. The area was well maintained. Food was above average for resort food, but down the street there is 4-5 restaurants and the hotel is only 10 minute walk from downtown. What made the property stand out was the attention and friendliness of the staff."

"Overall a fantastic stay (the roof with pool is amazing) and the location is perfect. Our only issue was that we rented a car and were told there was plenty of parking available. The free parking lot in front is the parking lot that is available to everyone in town so finding a spot was very difficult. Be prepared to pay for hourly parking in the garage next door. "

"I have to say I really enjoyed my time and carousel and more specifically the mangrove all inclusive resort I didn’t really know what to expect when visiting carousel as I have never been but the food the staff in the atmosphere was wonderful. I definitely want to highlight the efforts of Ren, Terry, Johely and Josh who went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. I can’t wait to return again soon hopefully!"

"A slightly dated resort compared to its neighbors but fitting of a lower price. We got the suite and it was extremely spacious with our own private balcony. The apartment was updated except for the bathrooms. The private beach and coral reef are unbeatable, but dining options are limited. The resort is very walkable to the public beach with many dining and drinking options. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful! "
