"So beautiful! Terrific amenities such as indoor/outdoor pool, massage therapist, fresh squeezed oj and papaya and fresh bread, amazing pastries and farm fresh eggs each morning. And soooo walkable! All the staff - guest services, dining staff, housekeeping were kind, helpful, gracious, and welcoming!! The hotel is set in a park on the river with walking bridges to each side. And our balcony looking over the park and river and phenomenal views of Knights Templar castle, which is within walking...

"Filipa receptionist was extremely helpful, particularly trying to sort out trains to Lisbon. It was also lovely to meet the owner who was keen to ensure our stay was as good as possible, even though it was only for 2 nights. Given outside temperature of 37C on one day, it was delightful to be in an air-conditioned room set at a comfortably cool temperature. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, a short, flat walk from the station."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Nuno had great recommendations for places to visit and dining options in the area. The grounds at the property were beautiful and one could spend plenty of time enjoying the facility and the amenities. The breakfast was delicious and the honesty bar was nice.
