Not the hotel's fault, but the roads are currently torn up and the repaving will not be finished until at least December. That made a 5-minute drive from the airport 20-25 minutes. We were there on an 8-hour layover, so that time difference mattered to us. Our room was very spacious and well-appointed. The shower stall was huge! The only negatives were that both of the showerhead holders were broken, so we had to hold it in one hand while showering. Also, we called down to reception 15 minutes before our airport shuttle was scheduled and asked for someone to come get our bags. No one came, so we had to take them down ourselves. My husband uses a cane, so it was not easy to manage. Other than those relatively small issues, we were very pleased and would stay there again if we had a long layover.

Excellent choice near the airport
We were not here very long unfortunately as we arrived late on one flight and had a flight out early the next morning. The hotel is close to the airport. The shuttle was easy to arrange and a friendly driver picked us up promptly. Our room was beautiful, clean and large. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke excellent English. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you want to be close to the airport.

Close to airport - great value
Huge clean room, comfortable bed, very nice a/c, nice buffet breakfast with good coffee. Very good value. So close to the airport. Only addition would be a hair dryer, but certainly not a deal breaker. There is ongoing construction on the main road (7/24) which adds a little to the time travel to and from and the noise - also, not a deal breaker.

8 mins from the airport with free shuttle. This was the only reason we went to Dar Es Salaam (layover). The room was giant and the shower was so good! A nice break from the African austerity as a tourist. The girls at the restaurant were so kind, the pizza was awesome!

A very comfortable stay with an excellent breakfast. The rooms are large, clean, and nicely furnished. Quality bathroom supplies were provided and the shower and bathroom met western standards.
