damais is a luxurious and modern property, a few streets back from the centre of Daylesford, located a block away from the iconic Daylesford Mill Market. damais is a two level, light-filled and open-plan holiday accommodation experience with all the mod-cons and features you'd expect from a 5-star hotel (well... except the butler and turn-down service)!

Offering a modern architectural design, it has four king-split beds, giving complete flexibility for guest bedding arrangements. There is free WiFi, Netflix, Chrome-casting your own content, Alexa to play your favourite tunes, as well as four flat-screen TV's, 1 in each bedroom and 1 in the main living room, DVD player and plenty of movies.

Set in a surprisingly tranquil location with elevated bush views from all angles. A great option for a weekend away, mid-week getaway, families or a group of friends escaping the city. We welcome corporate bookings as well with the ability of having 8 separate beds.

A central kitchen, dining and living space exudes natural light, with loft ceiling and every thought for your catering and entertaining needs, or just sit back, read a book and listen to nature on your doorstep.

Winter Holiday Stay.
Despite a problematic initial arrival, in which the host neglected to send the house code, we soon settled in and eventually enjoyed our stay. However, there were issues. There were multiple large dog poohs in the backyard, many large bugs, both alive and dead, scattered throughout the house, the TVs, though plentiful, were quite clunky and lacked most streaming services, the barbecue was outrageously dirty and frankly sickening and the shower upstairs was very foggy and low pressure. Even though there were problems, there were also very nice features such as a very good location, a relaxing spa bath and a massive yard, great for our dog. If you are advertising as dog friendly though, you should probably have a dog door. All in all, we enjoyed our time, but as you are advertising it as a 5 star property it definitely needs more attention in its up keep and cleanliness.

Great property, great location, very spacious, beautiful big kitchen bench, ver nice bathroom. 1 downfall, no aircon in 2 bedrooms downstairs. We had young kids in those rooms with 30+ degree days. Would stay again.

Lovely property and easy process
The whole process was easy and seamless. The property itself was amazing, clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with our family 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 13 and another family who have two children aged 14 and 10 plus our little French bulldog. Accommodated everyone including the dog. We felt very at home and would be very happy to stay again. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you!!!

Modern house taking advantage of spectacular views
Modern house with great spaces that advantaged the spectacular views from all aspects. Beds and relaxation areas very comfortable indeed! 5 minute drive from town . Hosts quick to reply to all correspondence.

We just completed a stay at Damais for 3 nights - two families made up of adults, teenagers and 2 dogs. The house had a great set up; the bedroom upstairs was a perfect space for the teenagers, and the adults and pooches hung out downstairs. The beds were comfortable; the log fire was most welcome at night; and the kitchen was well kitted out for meal preparation. We went for walks with the dogs into the state forest straight from the house, and yet we were also only a few minutes from town. We had a wonderful time at Damais and would recommend it as a great place to stay in Daylesford.

Relaxing stay with picturesque views and surrounds
Relaxing stay in a great location. Although the days were rainy, we were able to light the beautiful fire and enjoy the picturesque views. It’s close enough to the centre of town yet far enough to feel like you are in the foothills of the great dividing range. Thank you Lorin and Craig.

Lovely property! just had a few negatives, no gas in the dirty bbq, flywire doors were broken, floors in living area not overly clean and not enough towels for everyone but with all this aside it was a perfect house for our family gathering.

DAMAIS absolutely wonderful house
