We loved it for our family of 4. The kids were greeted with some activity books, the breakfast was great (sorry, little GF options) and more importantly, it was on a quiet street close to some nice restaurants and the Vondelpark

The Hoxton was in a great location the rooms were clean but the 1st night we were put in a room which was close to a staff through fare and there was a banging door every 3 minutes after speaking with the manager the room was changed for a smaller than booked room they offered to pay for breakfast to make up for this but we were still out of pocket 65 pounds. There were also issues with service for the bar and restaurant with food coming late and seating not available in bar area as the were very busy.
