"This was a pretty decent stay. The room was adequate and we liked the surprisingly large fridge in the room. I also liked the proximity to Cordele's Railroad Park, a short drive away. The most unusual aspect of the room was the toilet. The toilet seat was no more than 1.5 feet off the floor, incredibly low, making it a bit tricky for oversized adults...and the non-elongated bowl doesn't help matters. It probably works great for very young children, though. "

"The staff was wonderful. Darlene (the house maid) would bend over backwards for you to have a great experience and make sure you have everything you need. The owners are very nice. Its an older establishment, but has been nicely renovated. My biggest complaint is there is very old carpeting, so take some sandals or slippers. There are plenty of places to eat and shop within minutes. Its a motel folks, not a hotel."

I recommend getting there before dark because it is in a very rural area and it gets very dark very quick this time of year. The house is on a lagoon with the most beautiful Cypress trees. "Our family had a fabulous time!!! Marty's home is spacious; comfortable and set up for entertaining your family both inside and out!
