"My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!"

"The was a very cozy. My husband was able to kayak directly from the shore with great island trips. Central area to local farmer and art market on Sunday. Great Mexican food at Esther's on Drummond Island. Up the road. great sire to watch the freighters. The locals are very friendly."

"We were so happy with our stay. The cabin was secluded in a wooded setting, clean, and had everything you could need during your stay. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer available. The only downside was that there were no screens in the windows.. we would have liked to have some fresh air.but the mosquitos were bad so we didn’t want to let them in. Overall we had such a great stay and we would definitely be back! Thank you!"
