Check in was easy and Jasmine was quick to respond leaving good directions to easy parking and access to unit. However, place was in need of repairs and updating*. Cleaning service did not clean floors or wipe food off the front of the microwave. First thing we did upon arrival was buy additional cleaning supplies and clean. After already settling in, we did not want the cleaning crew coming back. With a little effort the place could have been really nice. The construction was ridiculous and diggers started in the morning and went til 630/7pm. Sadly the new building going in will definitely hinder the beautiful Mountain View. Overall our trip was great bcuz we were out exploring all day, had we been familiar w the area ahead of time, it would have been nice to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. You have to drive if you want decent bars and food as there is nothing decent in Dead Man’s Flats. Air conditioning was sporadic at best. Upstairs never fully cooled off. Even when thermostat was turned down, the temperature never moved. On some days, it actually got warmer (yes it was set to AC not heat). *kitchen sink drips, oven door handle either loose or broken, closet door in master bedroom wouldn’t close properly, trim piece bwt kitchen tile and flooring loose (tripped multiple times), ash tray on the porch was never emptied, patio furniture in poor condition, no shelves in fridge door, dishwasher difficult to operate even w extra instructions to close tightly, supplies very limited (bought and left paper towel and laundry soap - toilet paper very limited for four adults), all placemats on the table were stained and dirty, second floor bathrooms only, and pictures barely hanging on the wall… again just little things that would have taken the place from good to better.
