Nestled just on the edge of town on College Drive, this inviting home has the character of a country cabin, but gives you quick access to town. The park-like landscaping in the backyard is not only picturesque, but gives you a peaceful retreat from your backdoor. Children will enjoy the tire swing playset and teepee, but the firepit and the pond with fountain will be a favorite for the adults in the group. The 3D full body massage chair will keep you fully relaxed on your stay.

The space
Four bedrooms with eight beds including a sofa sleeper and also a pack-n-play for small children. Fully outfitted with coffeemaker (pot and K-cup), toaster, dinnerware, cookware, drinkware, knives, utensils, dish soap, hand soap, towels, and shampoo. Also a microwave and an induction cooktop for fast easy cooking. Includes a propane grill on the back deck.

A professional salon sink and chair are available as well as a 3-way full-length mirror for the ladies in your group who want to be pampered.

There is whole house Wi-Fi and the Roku smart TV's make it easy to access free TV as well as your own subscription TV like Netflix, Prime TV, Hulu and more.

Treat yourself to some farm fresh eggs by checking on the chickens in their coop during your stay. Just open the door on the side to access the eggs.

excellent house for games, dinner, gather with friends-any time of the year!
Jackson and Amy are very accommodating-communicate very well-and provide a space that's so cozy and comfortable-even for our large group of 9 (7 students, 2 chaperones) The massage chair, and large TV with Roku--is amazing. Kitchen has everything we needed -after a trip to Fareway-for breakfasts and lunch supplies. Fireplace upstairs-easy to operate and very nice to have. Special touch-the Christmas tree-still up in this early part of January. Thank you! Strongly recommend for a get-a-way!

Fall Getaway
Came to town to do some fall hiking with some family and friends. The house was perfect for the little boys. They loved the hill in the backyard and the adults loved the firepit. The house is much larger inside than it appears from the outside. We had a great visit and experience at this house.

We really enjoyed staying at this cozy home. Very spacious. The backyard was gorgeous - very enjoyable to sit outside back there. There was also a fantastic massage chair- unlike any I’ve tried before. We would definitely stay again!

Girls week
Every year my sisters and our daughters go on a weeks vacation. This year we chose Decorah. The property was very nice. We all had our own beds. The town had a lot of very nice restaurants and the shopping was great. We visited the cave in Harmony,Mn. We also visited a winery, brewery, distillery. We will spray here again on our next visit an recommend it to our friends.

Plenty of space for the toddler to safely roam both inside and out, and for the adults to kick a soccer ball. The chickens and their eggs were a bonus! Comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. Massage chair was fabulous! High chair and infant swing were very convenient. 3 minute drive to downtown, close to Luna Farms, Seed Savers and Dunning Springs.

The property was a perfect fit for our group. Unfortunately it rained(however rain is much needed in the area). The kids ran around in the rain in the front yard, which was fun for them. The kids also had their own space in the basement which they loved. They checked for eggs each day and were excited to find them which we had for breakfast. The adults were able to catch up with each other in their own space upstairs. Amy wanted to be sure if I needed anything not to hesitate to contact her, she is close by. Place is a country setting right in town. Nice

Country get away
Love the barn style decor of the house. Plenty of room to hang out. Nice massage chair and salon. Our youngest spent alot of time on the tire swing. Some suggestions would be the bunk bed creeks everytime you move so the girls didn’t sleep too well. 😂 And there are house numbers on the mailbox, but you can’t see them if you are coming in late at night so maybe a bigger sign would help. Other than that, loved the place and the stay.

relax, connect, great experience!
Jackson and Amy provide everything a group, or couples, or get-away mini-vacation any time of the year. Very close to Luther Campus-so I could transport my singers easily - to drop off for rehearsals, and even come back to the VRBO for lunch. Good sized- table, for eating and board games. Of course the massage chair is an amazing perk! Having 2 bathrooms was, of course, very important. This is an amazing place-my students and I were very comfortable here.

Reunion to remember
We stayed here during a visit to Luther to celebrate a class reunion. The property is spacious and can sleep more than we invited! Very well maintained and great outdoor space to enjoy the cool evenings by the firepit. We loved it and will be back!

The property was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The host was very pleasant and we all enjoyed talking with the chickens. LOVED the firepit and it was kind of them to have wood supplied. Was great to have a house so close to downtown!

Appreciated all the little touches!
We truly enjoyed our 2 nights. We arrived to find Amy there working to get the backyard fountain going because she wanted us to be able to enjoy it during our stay...very nice! I appreciated all of the fun touches in the home. The coffee mugs and dishes were VERY nice! The location was great for us. We were able to ride our bikes into town. Would definitely stay there again!

Super Clean. All the amenities were great. The kids loved looking for eggs every morning (3 to 5 every day) and the water guns. The adults loved the massage chair, and the deck. (Fire pit looked good but we never found the time to use it) plenty of room for everybody and we are talking about coming back again.

This house was so amazing. Fit my family of 7 perfectly. The owner was great going over the property. For my adult children and grandkids the backyard was a dream!! Close to downtown Decorah but far enough for peaceful nights on the back deck. If this house is available rent it!

Delightful home
Our group consisted of two adults and 4 kids ages 8-11. We enjoyed the beautiful yard with tire swing, fire circle, chicken coop, and fountain. The kids loved feeding the chickens and checking for eggs. The ferns going up the hill are just beautiful. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Jackson and Amy were so hospitable and easy to communicate with. We’d love to stay here again.

Relaxing Retreat
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were there for a dance competition and the location of the home was right by the dance competition so it was very convenient. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and enjoyed hanging in the basement after we were done with dance. We really enjoyed the massage chair as well! We would like to come again sometime when it is warmer outside so we could enjoy the outside amenities and do a bonfire.

Just what the property showed on-line and just what we expected.
We had 4 generations staying at Amy and Jackson's well maintained and well decorated property. Have an upstairs for the adults and downstairs for the kids worked well. The large table worked well for painting projects we did. The kids and adults loved the massage chair and it was used often. The kitchen was well stocked and this property exceeded our expectations for our family. Thank you and we hope to be back!

awesome space, very clean, immediately welcoming
Wonderful experience from the very beginning of our stay! Students were excited to be there-we played board games, hung out, watched a movie, just relaxed-for our mini-retreat before the big day of singing for Dorian festival. Jackson & Amy are great to work with and communicate well. The massage chair was a very special treat, the beds very comfortable. The backyard looked also very welcoming, with a campfire pit, and space for chairs. Only challenge for me was the induction stove-top. Luckily the manuel was available--so worked well after I got it figured out!
