"The manager was definitely out there but he was so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us even when he had so much to do. Lovely olde world property. The only criticism I have is the car park has small spots and it seems that people from a nearby business are using it therefore sometimes the carpark was full."

"Amazing gem - stayed overnight. Amazing room ( deluxe): quality and attention to every detail. Beautiful comfortable bed and pillows, perfect shower, immaculately clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated... To top it off - exquisite dinner at onsite restaurant, definitely on par with top-rated restaurants if not better. One regret - did not stay long enough to try the spa! Friendly and delightful break in a long trip. It is an enthusiastic review, - but we stayed in overpriced motels and this is not it!"

"It was perfect for us during our way home to Melbourne. It was clean, great little pool. The owners were friendly and they provided free complementary breakfast which was a feast. Close to town. A lovely motel with a charm due to the garden and the furniture. We highly recommend it. "

"Property exits onto the river and has a pool too. Walking distance to Woolworths and city centre. Quiet and comfortable. We have stayed here twice now, and are planning on visiting again. Good place for families."

"Grand Oak is in a fantastic location , it is very quiet ( great for a good nigts sleep) , plenty of parking, the restaurant and bar is great and the barman is excellent . The pool is just adequate, could be better with greenery , some plants around and some lounge chairs, other than that we had a great stay, we can recommend this resort/ hotel"
