Awesome views but very noisy Neighbors
This cabin in the woods had everything we wanted for a short weekend getaway. One major issue though was the dog kennel located less than a mile away. We were sitting on the back porch and from the time we went out (7am) until the time we went back inside (10pm) the dogs did nothing but bark and carry on! No peaceful relaxing outside to enjoy the views. Other than that was a very well maintained cabin with all the needed supplies!

Early October Get Away
We enjoyed our stay in the early part of Autumn. Leaves were just beginning to turn color, but the beauty was showing through. The Cabin was great for us. I would recommend a bit of TLC to the outside furnishings by next Spring (picnic table too rough to use & paint flaking off the small tables, and pit needs caulking). Overall, we loved our visit & highly recommend as a great tuck away spot.

Fall relaxation
The cabin is the perfect spot to hideaway and enjoy the woods. Well stocked and comfortable. We very much appreciated that our dog was allowed to join us. The only negative was the barking dogs from the breeder down the road but it wasn’t constant and very minor. Enjoyable location.

Great cabin
The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. The view was outstanding and the porches were very enjoyable. The smoker/grill was great and there was charcoal and wood available. There was a burn ban in effect so did not get to have a fire in the evenings but the patio with the fire pit was really nice. The only downside was the mile and a half of gravel road going to the cabin because we were on our motorcycles but knew that in advance. Would definitely stay there again

Stunning view cabin
We had an amazing time here at the cabin. It had amazing views and was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. Directions where a little confusing but the host was quick at replying and made sure we got there! I will say to pack in groceries with the nearest grocery store being 30 minutes out, there is a DG up the road if you forget something! The hiking trails are something to never forget! The people in the town of Jasper are very nice people. We broke down twice and was immediately greeted with help! If we ever come back this way we will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay in the Ozarks
This cabin is clean, well-stocked, and nicely situated near several hiking and scenic areas. We enjoyed the view from the back deck in the early mornings and late evenings as well as the ability to make a quick drive into downtown Jasper for restaurants. Check-in/out was easy, and we appreciated having the detailed directions on the way there. We were glad that the WiFi worked well in the cabin since we did not have any cell service. This would be a fabulous stay during foliage season!

Can't say enough good things about the cabin: clean, comfortable, cozy, well stocked and provisioned, nice fire pit, watching deer from the back porch was a bonus. We went for a girl's weekend and honestly we couldn't find one thing that could have been better. Would love to stay again in the winter and use the fireplace.

Short getaway
We absolutely loved our stay. Cynthia is a wonderful host. She thought of absolutely everything. We could have showed up with food and clothes and been fine for our stay. They had everything for the grill, the firepit, kitchen items including spices, bathroom items and more. We even enjoyed some smores that was provided. We loved the porch swing overlooking the beautiful view. We loved the music that could be heard outside through the outdoor speakers. It was a very comfy and cute cabin. She did a great job also getting us to the cabin. One thing we struggled with was getting the address to show up on our gps. She answered me immediately and helped get us there. If you are looking for a fun little secluded cabin with a wonderful view this is the cabin for you. 😊

Disappointed
Overall location was great. AC quit working during the night on every night we stayed. It wouldn't come back on until the morning. We followed instructions that host left regarding what to do if system shuts down. We notified host, was told to power off units (already tried that), flip breaker off, wait awhile, then turn all back on. Still wouldn't start working until around 7 am each morning. Not well kept. I could handle the ants inside the cabin but the roaches and beetles not so much. The grill rack was so rusted we had to use aluminum foil to grill our food. I wish I could attach pictures. When relayed the issues to Vrbo I was told they were considered 'minor issues' and I must discuss with host. As we had been in contact every day with host, that certainly didn't help. In the end, the host refunded 1 night. The host told me that we should have requested a different place if we were unhappy. If anything similar happens to us again, I will definitely do that. She also told us the housekeeper had not issues with the AC we she went in to clean after we had left our last morning. Not surprising as the AC worked fine each morning for us too; It just wouldn't work through the entire night. Lesson learned. :)

Remote but accessible
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is nestled on the side of a mountain with a beautiful view of the valley. The cabin is small-ish but not cramped. The fire pit area was wonderful & we took advantage of it several nights. The skies are dark during a new moon which made for some great stargazing. We saw multiple shooting stars & happened to be here when the borealis was visible in Arkansas. While the trees block some of the sky, it wasn’t prohibitive. The properly is a mile & a half off of the highway & very close to a Dollar General that has groceries. The property is also well stocked inside & out (firewood, grill, porch swing). We’ve never rented the same Vrbo twice but I could see that changing after staying here.

A wonderful stay!
We had an enjoyable stay. Cynthia was very helpful and her communication was exceptional. We enjoyed the back patio both morning and evenings. Listening to the birds with a cup of coffee in the morning was delightful! The house was older but cozy, I didn't want to leave! I couldn't ask for more. It was in beautiful location to drive through and a little house in a wonderful setting.

Enjoyed the Cabin
This cabin is wonderfully appointed. We had everything we needed to cook two dinners, except the food of course! Beds were comfortable. We were able to figure out all the remotes, except for the mini-splits. We didn't need any extra heat...just turned on the fireplace a couple times. We were a bit surprised at the ruggedness of the road in...we were in a Honda Civic and had to be careful. Be sure to check the door code before you drive in because we had no phone service once we got to the outside of the cabin and had to drive back out to check our email. Perfection would be a trail down to the lower level outside to explore. All in all a pleasant stay. Karen and Lars, Madison, Wisconsin
