"The inn is charming and comfortable and the service is exceptional. The only reason I have not given five stars in every category is the state of the stairways. Outdoors, the stairs to the entrance are uneven and hazardous. Inside, the stairs to the second floor are very steep and narrow, with shallow treads. Surprisingly for an inn of this caliber, there is no elevator."

"Extremely easy self-check in after hours. Property was clean and staff checking out the next morning was very friendly and personable. Only comment was that floor seemed a little uneven - part of the charm of an older property I guess! Very quiet off-season stay - would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
