Great river front property!
My boyfriend, dog and I had such an amazing time here. The river was so nice to have access to and it was very private. We cooked outside and used the hot tub at night. Check in and out was smooth. Couldn’t ask for much more. We l loved it!

Accurate description
I'm going to start out with the only negative. The grass really should have been cut before we got there. That being said, the cabin was really nice. It was private and out of the way yet easy to get to any activity you would be interested in.The river was really nice. We were able to catch a couple small mouth bass. We even saw a bear across the river one night. Hiking was also very nice. Great vacation spot if you have a dog.

Best camping trip yet!
We typically take a trip somewhere in NC/VA/TN each summer to tent camp on the river. This property exceeded our expectations! We often resort to campgrounds and have found that we prefer something a little more remote. This property fit ours needs perfectly! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. We did not expect luxury with planning a camping trip but the little cabin was awesome. I am 33 weeks pregnant and wanted something with a little AC and not an air mattress. The rest of the family stayed in tents. The Queen bed was much more comfortable than expected & the kitchenette (and all supplies provided) were perfect! We loved the sheds and trees on the property as this provided a ton of shade and shelter from possible storms. We were able to move most of the belongings we were concerned with under shelter unlike traditionally when everything almost everything gets soaked. The property owner stayed in touch with me consistently and replied within 10 minutes. They even thought to add a cellular booster and wifi. We still stayed on our phones a limited amount but that was nice to stay in contact with them and our family at home. The outhouse had all the basics you need. We chanced kayaking from Wolf Creek bridge to the property and realized this was not a good section of river for smaller children and a Good Samaritan picked me up to grab our truck! The access to the river was amazing! We stayed in beach chairs while the kids played. We will definitely be back!!!

Relaxing
This property is amazing. The view by the water and peacefulness of it all was hard to leave. The owners did 100% at accurately describing and detailing this rental. If your looking for hotel comfort this is a NO (outdoor shower / outhouse) but if you're looking for privacy, relaxation by the edge of the river a Huge Yes. The outdoor shower will grow on ya if your not use this kinda thing 😆 and going to a huge outhouse.....They are truly not that bad. The bed was comfortable and the owners had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay inside the cabin which is bigger than expected inside. Very clean and tidy. The layout of this property has all you need to get away from it all... from the swing by the river reading a good book or fishing to watching TV under a covered patio/fireplace area while the rain hit the tin roof. If I could rate this rental more than a 5 star review I would. Cannot wait to plan our next stay here with the kids. It is a picture of perfection looking out from the rocking chair on the porch. Absolutely loved this rental.

Perfect in every way
We are so excited about this property, the location, the amenities, the communication, and how easy every step of the process has been. We'll be going back as much as we can. We had a weekend whitewater paddling trip staying at the property and it was perfect in every way. The group camped outside and the bathroom and kitchen were all we needed. We paddled the section of river that the property is on Saturday and Sunday. It couldn't have been more convenient. We're excited to use the property for all of our programming this summer.

Rustic Rural Riverside
This is a roomy, tidy compound property with great river frontage and views of East Tennessee mountains. Far enough from town that the night sky stops you on the way from the car to the house. This is no ‘creek side cabin’ near Gatlinburg. The French Broad is your persistent neighbor on the south side, fascinating you from the porch and sometimes easing up into the yard, singing all night. The river is a great reason to stay here but has to be respected. The owner has done a great deal of work to provide a comfortable experience. There are well lit paths to the extra cabin and the bathroom. There are multiple places to enjoy being outside while protected from rain or wind. You can sit in front of a fireplace or around a campfire. The riverside swing is a treat. If you must have a five star hotel, keep driving. But if you want to really live by the river, with the wind, the stars, the mountains looming right there, and the constant call of the water, this is a great spot. After a few hours even the highway is an afterthought.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here! The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful. They left a note and a toy for my little boy after I sent them a picture of the cabin he’d drawn. The cabin was decorated for Christmas, it was so cute, and my kids loved it! If you’re contemplating staying here, do it, you won’t regret it! It’s absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back!
