Come enjoy this family owned and operated lakeside retreat for all the beautiful seasons that Southwest Michigan has to offer.

Beautiful Upper Crooked Lake is a 735-acre all-sports lake nestled in the quaint town of Delton, MI. Upper Crooked enjoys the lowest boat traffic of the four largest lakes in the Barry County area and is part of a chain of lakes surrounded by the Michigan State Nature Preserve (Lux Arbor). Wildlife is abundant with swans, geese, cranes, and loons present all summer long. This lake is also known for its great fishing including Large-mouth Bass, Pike, Yellow Perch, Sunfish, Bluegill, and Crappie.

We are looking for a small, trusted group of families and responsible adults to rent when we are not enjoying Crooked Lake Lookout ourselves.

OUTSIDE:
Relax in the shade of the large trees, soak up the sun by the water, swim, kayak, or fish right of the dock. Expansive deck leads to a sturdy staircase that takes you down to shallow water with sandy bottom is safe for young kids to play and swim. We have 5 kayaks (3 adult and 2 kids) available for your use including lifejackets of all sizes to spend time exploring the lake. Bring your boat or pontoon rentals are available. We have ample room to tie up at our brand-new dock. As the sun sets directly across the lake, grab the marshmallows and build life-time memories by a cozy campfire. Outdoor grill is also available for use during your stay.

INSIDE:
Enjoy comfortable décor in our newly renovated from top to bottom 2-bedroom one bath cottage. The spacious and airy living room offers plenty of space to play games, read, watch tv, nestle up for a good book or be mesmerized by lake views on three sides. The open concept fully equipped kitchen/dining room features new appliances, including a dishwasher, and the dining area features a large table for everyone to gather for meals together. At night, retire to a queen bed in one bedroom, and queen bed and full over full bunk beds in the other bedroom, accommodating six to eight guests. Feel at home with modern amenities such as central air conditioning, WI-FI, water softener, and washer/dryer for your laundry.

Delton is a friendly country town with a well-stocked grocery store, local coffee shop, bait shop, bars and pizza shop. Tom’s meat market in nearby Hastings is worth a drive. Local activities off the lake include;

This conveniently located lakefront cottage is 20 miles from downtown Kalamazoo, 35 miles from downtown Grand Rapids, and less than 3 hours from Chicago and Detroit.
