denman getaway

Very clean and well decorated. Owner works very hard to provide a nice place to stay. However, the way the property is portrayed on the web site, we expected an ocean fronting unit with access to the shore from the door of the unit. That is not accurate. It is down the driveway, across the main road of the island and 7 - 10 min walk (for us) to a rocky (but very nice) beach. The owner has done a nice job with the unit, small hot tub in small private deck and the sauna across the street and down the hill to the beach. However, from the pictures it led both my wife and I to believe we could bring our inflatable kayak and launch from our unit. Not so! The island itself is worth seeing and exploring. It is mostly gravel roads but the quiet and tranquil nooks and crannies makes it a good visit.

Great accomodations!

Manna House is well kept and very clean. Everything we required for cooking was supplied. The electric bbq was awesome and the bed so comfy. It was lovely sitting by the firepit on the ocean. Thank you Mark!
