I want to be fair when I make this review because overall it’s a nice hotel with great staff.
However , there were issues.
1- the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment and you could only use Pier 8 , that said, Pier 8 is in a fantastic location.
2- the hotel is being refurbished throughout and it’s my understanding that the pool and Pier 8 will be refurbished in Jan 25.
3- the hot water in our room was cold /tepid for most of our stay until we were told to let it run for 5 minutes first and even then it was only warm.
4- Normally in a hotel you put down a deposit and pay the rest when leaving . In this case you put down $400.00 and they then text you to say you have exceeded the amount and please put down more. This was first for me.
5- the hotel feels disjointed with a huge pond in the middle with no access around it. Essentially you have the front reception and then the pool and beach side restaurant.
6- not overly friendly reception staff.
The positives.
1- nice room with large balcony / second living area.
2- nice breakfast
3- great restaurant and pool staff.
4- nice pool if somewhat very hot to sit around and very warm water.
5-great location.
In summary I would stay again , however ,wait until all the refurbishment is done.
