Yesterday we called to confirm our reservation for today. We were met with an attitudinal employee, scolding us for booking with Expedia, and he confirmed that we had a guest room.
We had asked about the cancellation policy, due to the fact that we were under the impression we had paid for a suite, and he told me that was “impossible” because the suites had been booked over a month.
When checking back with Expedia I noticed that I had been sent a message the day I booked the reservation (12/10/2024) offering to upgrade. How would I have upgraded if all the rooms had been booked for over a month?
Nonetheless, we decide to keep the room as we were still greatly looking forward to staying, and called back to let them know that we were going to still be staying. When we called back the gentleman that answered the phone said with an exceptional attitude that “oh, it was the Eastmans again.”
We drove three hours to your B&B, and call to ask if the room was ready upon arrival, and the same gentleman as yesterday said “we sent you an email 40 minutes ago” - again, extremely rudely. We sheepishly head up to our room with no interaction or help from the staff. Once in, we spend about one hour in the room before leaving for dinner reservations. We are met on the steps down by a lady and her obnoxiously loud children. We have a child we left home with grandparents whom we would have enjoyed having along, due to your website saying this was not a child-friendl
