First off the staff was great and the coffee was really good. But other than that nothing to brag about. When we checked in they informed us that the pool and hot tub were out of service due to the roof caving in. I understand this is kinda out of their control but maybe somehow they could put this in the listing when you go to book? This shouldve been our first sign that this hotel has seen better days. Our room smelled horrible and we ended up having to run to the store late at night to get air fresheners. Then we went to shower and no hot water. Messaged the front desk and was told to just let it run for awhile until it gets hot. Took about 30 minutes to be able to shower. Next morning ZERO hot water again. Never got it to warm up until later that night. Breakfast was pretty good and the hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants and stores. Hotel just needs updated and cleaned and all the carpet ripped up to get all the stains out of it. Never stayed in a Hampton that wasn’t amazing so this was out of the norm for sure.
