"Had a very enjoyable stay, lovely property but listing didn’t give the full picture. It does not have air conditioning (just one ceiling fan in conservatory), the listed restaurants nearby no longer existed or only open for lunch, rickety spiral staircase to two of the bedrooms and bathroom is downstairs only. However it’s an old property with thick walls so is naturally cooler, there are restaurants/shops 15 mins drive away and the pool is the best we have ever had in a holiday property (warm, clean etc). We only saw the host once when we arrived and he was very helpful. Very peaceful and well equipped property."

"The reception was outstanding. We arrived early and were made to feel most welcome. The room is large, modern and lovely. Everything is first class, bedding, towels , etc. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. The hotel is a pleasant short walk from the old town centre. Parking is very limited but not an issue. There always seems to be free street parking right outside the hotel. A lovely stay all round."
