"Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."

"The loft was perfect for the four of us. Location is a short walk to the center of Ghent. Across the canal was a hidden gem--Industrie Museum. And a lovely Italian restaurant. The loft was light and airy, the bathrooms modern. The common area has a nice seating area, a huge dining table and an adequate kitchen and a small powder room. "Great house to stay in. It’s clear the host takes pride in his rentals. Everything is immaculate. We didn’t want for anything in this house. For example usually when staying away there are bits and bobs we miss in the kitchen for making dinner. Not the case here. Very well stocked kitchen. Lovely large bath and separate walk in shower. High quality washer and dryer. Great spot to stay! "

"A large soul less showroom flat. No pictures, no tourist information or maps. Everything was extra including having the rubbish removed.so you had to put your rubbish in public rubbish bins. All the appliances were high tech, instructions would have been very useful. When booking a flat we made sure there was outside space. There was a nice space but no furniture. It is a sad, because it was a lovely large flat in a good location. People need to understand the meaning of hospitality"

It ended up being ideally located, especially its proximity to the parking garage. The exit door from the garage is literally across the street (literally a few steps since it isn't a wide street) from the entrance to the hotel! The hotel room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, there was a kitchenette in the room, and it was close enough to walk around the city. If you just need a place to sleep, this is just fine. It's clean, comfortable, and affordable. If you do plan on driving, be aware that the hotel is located in a "low emissions zone" so the vehicle you drive must comply or you can be fined. Google "low emissions zone" and Ghent to fully understand what this means if you plan to drive! I would definitely stay here again."
