"Property is old but probably still the best hotel in the area. Heater in room was difficult to maintain consistent temperature. Room furnishings are dated and some are damaged. The public bath, sauna and other relaxation offerings are nice. However, when it comes to amenities of any kind forget it. All you get is a toothbrush and q tips. The hotel is directly across the street from Mikawa Anjo Tokaido line Shinkansen station. Not many restaurants in the area. Lastly, no tattoos in public bath....

"Walk uphill at end of day after sailing was a grind. Self imposed as the hotel offered shuttles at various times. Could not have been more helpful but you have to be prepared for very Japanese experience. Try the restaurant in the hotel. Not well advertised but very attentive waiter. "

"We booked this property as a layover for a roadtrip from Tokyo to Osaka, but we were pleasantly surprised by the property and the whole town. If we had time, we would’ve extended our stay. The bathhouse was very nice feature with long open hours. The beach was very nice, too. Not many dining options outside of the property. We found two izakaya places but the food options were not that good. If we come back to japan, we will definitely stay here again."

"The room is a normal business hotel size, bed is comfortable and have all utilities, including a pijama. We stayed only one night for a festival in the Toyota stadium, though was closer, but was about 10minutes by taxi.Breakfast was good and also free ice bars was nice."

"I cannot stress how much I recommend this hotel enough; the entire experience was absolutely incredible. The owner, Kosuke, was so cool, accommodating, and sweet. Before we arrived, he called me on the phone to try and get my estimated time of arrival so he could pick us up from the train station. He did us the favor of stopping at a convenience store so that we could get everything we needed before going to the hotel itself. "Although very simple, the rooms are incredibly clean and tidy. In addition they are very attentive in the staff are just excellent as a typical in Japan if you’re looking for luxury. This is not it but if you’re looking for a nice solid place to just crash. This is fantastic."
