"Nice hotel with friendly staff"

"We have been going to Tofino for the past 11 years and this was our first time staying at MBL. What an absolute pleasure it was to stay there. Our room was amazing and the view was simply spectacular! The main lodge meeting area with its cozy fireplace was so welcoming. An extra huge bonus was the fact that the property has a generator which came in handy as the bomb cyclone that hit while we were there knocked out the power for 2 days all over the island. We will most definitely make this...

"So many rules for everything. Super inconvenient to have to sign out keys. Surely only guests have access so why is this needed. Drainage seems to be an issue as well. "

"A good option for an affordable stay in Ucluelet. Upper level rooms are probably a quieter option. Motel seems recently renovated with some useful features like washroom, tables, and lamps, etc. I think the level of quietude depends on the conscientiousness of other guests. Keeping the portable fan running at night helps. "
