"They have pictures of nice and clean beautiful rooms in the website but this is not true. The room smelled and it had little bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has mold and it was very warm. The towels had stains. I would not recommend this unless your on a very low budget. "

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

"La Demeure Absolutely gorgeous place. Pool lovely. BBQ great. Outdoor and indoor eating areas. Remote location so car absolutely necessary to reach shops ect, and no restaurants close by. Not super flexible with check in time. We were only able to check in at 5pm which seems late, but good communication!!"

"The furniture is dated but the house was spotlessly cleaned. Owners were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I would certainly recommend this Vrbo to family and friends."

"We enjoyed a relaxing holiday at Sylvie and Thierry's property. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming - treating us to a delightful evening of home-made pizza and cocktails on our final night - and struck the perfect balance of being attentive while still giving us space to enjoy the facilities. The property was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook up delicious meals using the fantastic produce of the region. "Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them."

"4 stars The room was okay—clean and suited for a short stay. The free parking was a big plus, with plenty of spaces available. For the price, the value felt fair. There were quite a few restaurants within walking distance, which was really convenient. The only complaint is that there’s no elevator, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs. Overall, a good stay with just one main inconvenience"

"I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free. There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money. "

"We woke up late and missed breakfast. We asked the lady serving breakfast if it was too late and she kindly prepared us a breakfast just for us. She was so friendly and helpful. Her service was above and beyond and we can't thank her enough. Réception was also very friendly. Id recommend this hotel purely for the servive. Only negative was the air con in the room which was 26c all night."
