"Excellent service "

"The staff are very friendly and eager to assist. The entire facility is excellent and offers a variety of activities. The room is warm, comfortable, and clean. However, there are quite a few stairs. If you have large luggage, you'll need to carry it up some steps when entering, and if you're staying in a loft room, there are stairs to navigate as well. Private rooms don't have a minibar, so you'll need to bring a water bottle to the common area to get water. This might be inconvenient for those...

"Great room and top notch service, my only complaint is that I couldn't find any cutlery (other than a single teaspoon) or plates to use in the room for the duration of our stay. It would be helpful to have some available for use in rooms. "

"The hotel is located in the CBD which makes it very easy to access good shopping, food, and coffee. The room itself was comfortable and clean. In some places it is looking a bit tired and worn and could do with a refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Parking is available on site but costs 30 NZD a night, which seems a bit expensive since it's for paying guests. Despite some of these observations, we would stay here again. The staff were very helpful and made us feel at home."
