In the description of the property it says ( only at the end the last sentence) : 4 km away from the beach. The adress ( a street 4 kilometers long) is misleading."

"Booked at last minute for a short break with a friend. House had everything we needed for our stay. Owner lives in part of house next door but he keeps himself to himself and left us to it so it isn't an issue. Great location to discover places in the area. Only downside is nothing in walking distance for the evenings so you have to rely on a car but otherwise great."

"A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

A bit of a hike to carry stuff from the car to the property as front gates permanently locked - across the large garden and up stairs. We didn't realise that sheets, quilt cover and towels weren't provided, but fortunately we carry our own lightweight bedding - and Mr Sabatier fetched us towels. Nothing in Angerville-la-Martel, but we were focused on Fecamp and Etretat nearby, so it was fine for 3nights."

"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "Very good value. Our room (standard 2 single beds) was somewhat small, the bathroom quite small, but everything was in good condition, clean, comfy beds. The heating is not turned on yet (as of October 06), if you are not familiar with Europe, I believe they turn it on after a certain date. "

Excellent Hotel

"Hotel was excellent value for the price. Staff spoke english, which really helped as my french is very rusty. Beds were comfy, shower was powerful. Location was excellent, right on the beach front, with plenty of parking out front. Only 10 mins drive away from the ferry port. Only a short 5 min walk to the main town for restaurants, but breakfast was offered. Unfortunately we could not sample breakfast as we had to leave very early for our ferry home. Reception staff were available 24/7. Cannot thank the hotel enough. Definitely want to come back in the summer to enjoy the area more."
