"Beautiful spot. Rustic of course. The road in is quite difficult. You need both the 4wd (which I had) and some offroading skills (which maybe I had less of). But Dave got us through it; picked us up inhis ATV and got our car out. If you do decide to try it yourself you need to commit to it. I got stuck because I was timid. Ideally get there before dark."

"We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay which has a private bath and was near Denali. The lady at the office was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and has everything we needed. The bed wasn't very comfy, but that is a subjective thing. The walls between units were thin, so we turned on our white noise (phone) to sleep. They weren't loud, but we could easily hear them. Breakfast at the creekside restaurant was very good. "

It is clean and fully stocked with every item we could have thought to ask for, plus more that we never would have remembered to request, but were thrilled to have access to! "This home was great for the 4 of us. Well stocked kitchen, easy access to Denali National Park and quiet despite being right next to an air strip. "

"Found the listing information and previous reviews to be accurate. Step ups to bathrooms and living area require extra caution for a traveling group of seniors. The only thing I would add is don’t miss the Fat Truck tour in Healy. Probably the highlight of our three week trip. "

"This is a beautiful, secluded property within 10 minutes of the park entrance. Cabins are very nice, comfortable, and the amenities on property (especially grills and firepit) are perfect. Lacie has thought of everything, from big fluffy towels and pillows to coffee to supplies for s’mores. This was our second stay at this property and we’ll definitely be back. "

"The woman at the host desk was incredibly helpful and sweet. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. I was able to borrow an extension cord for the engine warmer which was great! All in all, there's nothing I can think of that would have improved my experience at Aurora Denali Lodge. Highly recommend to everyone!"

"This place is fine. We arrived in mid-September, so that may have affected our experience. The rooms were fine. It's a place to stay. It is an easy walk to the few shops and restaurants and a nice hike to the park. Dining had limited options, especially for breakfast. Park tour buses stop here, which is also a plus. Pickup from the train station is available for an extra price. It was convenient to use as you get a tag for the hotel when you check into the train, and they take from there to the hotel. I would recommend it as a fine base for your Denali adventure. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge during our trip to Denali National Park. We had a riverside room and the view from our balcony was incredible. The room was very clean, comfortable and just a very short drive to the park entrance. On the downside, the room did not have a refrigerator or microwave. The wi-fi is free for 30 minutes but after that you have to pay an additional charge and we had virtually no cell service with Verizon. This was not a problem for us since our purpose was to enjoy the outdoors and visit Denali. We would absolutely stay there again."
