Host was lovely and gracious and welcoming, and provided us with helpful insights for seeing the surrounding area and a great recommendation for a bar/restaurant that was off the beaten track (the "Chubby Pig"). "Incredible accommodation in a prime location for experiencing the local game. Every day was special with different animals visiting. Love the bush babies that come out at night. So adorable. Close to Crocodile Bridge for easy access to the Kruger National Park. Loved the very minute of our time and thank you so much for everything. "We loved our stay at the Wild Bunch house. We were greeted by Liresia on arrival. The house was well presented and clean. We had everything we needed. This is a beautiful house. Theres no need to go anywhere but laze at the pool and wait for animals to arrive. The best part was feeding our daily wildlife visitors ... the Kudu, Wildebeest, Warthogs, bushbuck and the nighttime visit from bushbabies. We highly recommend the The Wild Bunch House !!"

"The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."

"We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld. "

"We spent four nights using the lodge as a base of visiting Kruger Park. It is spacious and clean, but the combination of load shedding ( not the owner’s fault) and a lack of hot water for two whole days and no water at all for our first night, made for a less than satisfactory experience, The furniture is old and in need of refurbishing, there are no window screens, so the choice was to close everything up to keep the insects out and use the ceiling fans, or to open the windows for air and...

"Overall good and safe experience. It felt like having your own house in nature next to the Kruger National Park. That house was for me alone with plenty of space and total beds for up to 4 persons. It was all clean and tidy. The only downside is that it wasn't climatic controlled the only cooling devices are fans which can be cold during night. Don't expect a 5 Star hotel but you get the local experience."

"This was a very special chance for my daughter and I to visit Kruger Park. So I opted for a special place to stay - Kruger Shalati. We stayed in a train car on the bridge. It was elegant, quiet, and spacious with a spectacular view. Below us in the river was abundant wildlife including hippos. We enjoyed an all inclusive plan with superb dining, gracious service, and two daily safaris with exceptional guides (shout out to Lisa!) I stay in hotels 100+ nights a year and this ranks as one of the finest resorts I’ve ever experienced."
