"We had a wonderful stay at the villa, the photos don’t do it justice, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need. The outdoor area is very large with beautiful views of the bay and the location is convenient to travel the island. Hosts and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend."

This place is as good as a 5 Star hotel! It is so good to be able to shop at the Mauritian supermarkets (Super U 15 minutes away by car) and buy the lovely local produce and cook a nice meal on the bbq and relax with Pheonix beer and wine overlooking the beach at sunset! "The flats are next to a very busy road with morning and evening heavy traffic and next to three discos with a lot of weekend night actions and noise. The flats are spacy and awere nicely build but meanwhile lack repair and maintenance and thus appear to be rundown."

"Perfect spot for an active retired couple. We spent a week in apt during our month touring Mauritius, Rodrigues and La Reunion. For this stay we didn’t have a car and used the local buses to get to Grand Bay and Port Louis and walked along the coast in both directions. Our daily house keeper Rka was lovely. She brought papaya from her garden and told us which buses to catch to get around much cheaper than Taxi’s. There is a supermarket about a 20 mins walk away and a smaller shop within 300...

"Jennifer looked after us during our stay at Villa Banyan and was helpful & friendly and easy to reach. The villas are well maintained and located in a beautiful setting beside a pool and beach area. "Excellent resort. Our villa (on stilts) was quiet, had all the expected amenities and more, and overlooked the lake, although the boardwalk did have a significant people drifting passed, particularly to the restaurant. Food excellent; staff very helpful. Wine expensive. Was given a villa to stay after check-out before a late airport departure, very much appreciated. 2 minor concerns: our villa was always cleaned late (after 2pm) which meant we had to wait before going back there after lunch. The food service on the anniversary night was random (very fast then very slow, then no bill!). Other nights it was fine. Overall very pleasant stay and thoroughly enjoyable."

"We only stayed for one night in transit on our way home to the U.S. as it was close to the airport, but we were very impressed with this property. The hotel was modern and the rooms were very spacious and clean. I enjoyed the small but well equipped gym and the lunch buffet was excellent; it was one of the best and most affordable meals that we had during our vacation. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel. "

"We recently stayed at Le Méridien for our honeymoon, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. The moment we walked into the resort, we were greeted with a breathtaking ocean view from the reception area, an absolutely stunning way to start our stay. The resort itself is meticulously clean and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The all-inclusive package is a must; it allowed us to relax completely without worrying about additional expenses. The location is also ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions. One of the highlights of our trip was renting the jetty for a private dinner. The food prepared by the private chef was simply incredible, but what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service from our two private waiters. They were not only attentive and professional but also willing to capture special moments for us, taking beautiful photos that we’ll cherish forever. The spa was another high point of our visit, with excellent service that left us feeling completely rejuvenated. While the overall experience was fantastic, we did notice that poolside service could be a bit slow during the day. Additionally, while some staff members were phenomenal, going above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, others were a bit less attentive. Overall, Le Méridien was an incredible choice for our honeymoon."
