"It snowed the weekend we were there, but still enjoyed going down to the barn to spend time with the horses. They are amazing. Disappointed by the breakfast/meals that were included. We couldn't go far because of the snow, so we were limited and the meals were disappointing. Thank God they had snacks !!! The cook/ kitchen manager appeared to not want to be there and it was evident in the food she served and her general attitude (unwelcoming)."

"Please make it more useable for electric outlets to charge other things other than cars. The hotel was clean and great to stay. If you needed to charge your batteries it was hard to do that for a boat etc."

"Lovely older hotel. Bedroom was well appointed and had a fireplace. It was walking distance to restaurants and the historic area. Staff very good. Breakfast room was a bit dark and dreary as it was in the basement."

"If you have a chance come to this beautiful little town. The remodeled motor court is special. It was so beautiful all lit up for Christmas, it look like a mo ie set. If we come this way again we will definitely stop again. "

"Upon our very late arrival, we were still eagerly greeted by who I believe to be the owner. He was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The room was efficient, clean and all we needed for a quick over night stay. The room was in a safe neighborhood. We did not have breakfast, as we left around 6:15 am. I have no complaints about our stay and it was worth the money that we paid. I would stay again for a short term visit."

"The hobbit house is very unique as it makes you feel your in the real place. Although it looks like you would expect it to, inside the amenities are great. From the decor & spa tub to everything you need in the kitchen this place is amazing. This was our 2nd time staying here & hopefully there will be a next time. Also a great place for our dog as well.
