"I stayed in a beautiful room high up looking over the bay. I found the balcony a nice place to read whilst looking at all the boats, ships, and yachts below. The team in reception, the restaurant, and bar were always very polite. I recall how sympathetic they were when my bank kept me on the phone for 20 minutes just to pay a bill. I learned from Bequia Hertigage Museum, it is also historic, being the first hotel on the island some 80 years ago when the only vistors were those on Yachts. I shall definitely be back! "

"The Liming is a gorgeous property right on the ocean with luxurious individual villas for guests complete with private pools. It is a small resort, very quiet and secluded. There weren't a lot of activities but that suited our needs perfectly. There were opportunities to hire boat trips, take a taxi into the nearest town or do some water sports but we did not do any of that. We read, relaxed and enjoyed our beautiful villa and pool. The staff were friendly, available and so accommodating. It was a week of gentle relaxation. The food at the resort is limited but good quality. I would have liked access to some snacks - maybe at the bar or a small convenience store but that is not available at this time. The weather was a perfect 27 C every day (in early February). Only downside for me was the bug bites I got - small flies or mosquitoes? Very itchy reaction and swelling. I will bring heavy duty bug spray if I return!"

"Highly recommend! Firefly Estate Bequia is such a calming and magical place. The grounds are clean, well maintained and surrounded by beautiful trees. The room was spotless, large, and had a welcoming aroma. We were definitely impressed by the room fixtures. We can tell that special care goes into cleaning and maintaining the rooms and property. The balcony is also considerably spacious with exceptional views. We were assisted by staff member Judith, who greeted us on late arrival and was extremely accommodating. Will definitely return. "
