"This beautiful hotel is decorated in stunning Guatemalan design. The plants, pool, fountain, and rooftop terrace added quiet tranquility to this small hotel. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Breakfast at its sister hotel - Pensativo - was fabulous. Fresh food, excellent service, and gorgeous setting. I hope to come back one day. Book this hotel and you won’t regret it!"

"Service provided was good, can't complain. The one thing that could be better was the quality of food at the restaurant during our dinner, breakfast was excellent. Also there was confusion about the service time at the restaurant, the front desk indicated closing time was at 11:00 PM and restaurant staff told us 10:00 PM; that little confusion made us rush into the selection of our dishes"

"Nice cozy hotel in the middle of everything. Super friendly staff. Kitchen downstairs has everything you need for basic cooking (stove, fridge, microwave, dishes, pots, etc.) There were several terraces on different levels with tables. The room was not very big, quite dark, so definitely needs a brighter lighting. Beds were okay. Even though the building needs renovations, the general atmosphere is very pleasant. We would return and recommend."
