"Firstly, all the positives but, unfortunately ending with a negative. On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and efficient receptionist. Booking in was very easy and I was given a map of the island and a booklet of things to see and do. My room is very clean and spacious with a queen size bed, furniture, sufficient storage, lovely bathroom with bath/shower and complimentary bathroom items. Kettle, tea, coffee milk etc are also in the room. Balcony with 2 chairs and a table. LG tv with remote....

"This is the third time I have stayed in the Cobo Bay Hotel. We had a twin room on the top floor. It was very quiet, apart from people leaving the pub next door on a Friday and Saturday night, over a 20 minute period. The room was very warm and cosy, it was easy to control the temperature. Everything was clean and tidy. Nice view from the window. The bathroom is a good size, nice bath and shower. Tea and coffee available in the room, with biscuits, a good size TV. "Staff are very welcoming and there is a good breakfast "

"Location and actual building and facilities very good. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast of very good standard. Small items requiring attention specific to Room 15. 1. Mattress worn out and requires renewal. 2. Bathroom door Jamming at top requiring a real effort to get it closed. 3. Whilst the shower is excellent, the on / off control is so tight it cannot be operated with wet / soapy hands. It needs attention. Having said all this, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel."
