"This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go."

"This cottage lovely character from its early life as a blacksmiths workshop. But has been renovated to have everything we needed with such charm and style. We loved the homeliness, and feel and would definitely stay again. It is a perfect location to town where you can walk ti the domain, restaurants and shops. Thank you!"

"The location is beautiful and only a short drive to Waihi where I spent 2 days working The arrival is confusing with no clear signage to say where reception is. The website says check in available till 9 pm but I had received 3 voice messages at approx 5.30 pm to ask what time I was arriving. The access to my accommodation was through lawn with no designed driveway access. There was no working Tv and a rude sign saying that was because guests had caused the problem While the sheets...

"The retreat is located in a beautiful area overlooking the ocean. The hosts met us when we arrived with fresh baking and goodies and a stocked fridge. We enjoyed our stay! "
