"Our family stayed over for a night at the hotel to visit Daisetsuzan. Hotel is very close to the cable car in small town of Sounkyo. We were there at off-season so it was quiet. "This was such a treat of a hostel, and for a great price too. Really no complaints about the hostel itself, but be sure to know what you are getting into when you book. "Hotel has change owner recently thus name was changed. It provide free shuttle bus from asahikawa station return trip was a bonus. The room is abit dated. But outdoor onsen was great ! The buffet dinner and breakfast was better than my previous stay. The hotel is just beside the waterfall.
