"If you like large resorts, you will enjoy RIU Jambo. The food at the buffet and the drinks were very good. The bartenders were all friendly, especially at the swim up bar. The beach is beautiful and the warm ocean is very swimmable. We appreciated being able to find beach and pool chairs to use. My only disappointment was we stayed for three nights and were only able to make reservations at one of the two specialty restaurants that wasn’t a buffet - even though I logged on immediately after arriving in the early afternoon. "

"We spent four nights at the hotel before staying at a large, expensive all-inclusive resort. After the all-inclusive, we came back to Double A, which we preferred. We enjoyed the personal service, being steps from the beach and the swimming pool that was shaded by beautiful flowering trees. The breakfasts which were included were excellent. The bartenders, chefs and waitstaff were all friendly and attentive.The dining area overlooks the ocean and the food was delicious. There is also a pool table that is free to use. The hospitality of the staff in all areas, the open lay out of the property and proximity of dining to the ocean, the clean and beautiful rooms, and the quality and variety of food options at the breakfast buffet. The property is perfectly located at walking distance to shops, restaurants and main markets. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. A big thank you to Tembo House!!!"

"From our first arrival we were greeted with cool towels and warm smiles. The staff is amazing!! Esther at the front desk was very accommodating on our last day- our flight wasn't until late at night so got a lovely extra late check out. The food each day was prepared fresh and most delicious! Our room was the honeymoon suite which including a private pool and the maintenance guy always made sure to clean our pool as well. Having beach access from our room was a great plus because we were in the ocean/beach a lot! This place has not seen the last of us!!!"
