"The rooms were clean and the food was amazing shout out to mama Chef. The pool was a bit far from our rooms and not really pleasing it was not clean. It would be nice for them to include at least two bottles of water in their bar fridge as welcoming drinks. There are no game drives as shown on site, only people with big cars can be able to do self drive. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay."

"The check in was poor as communication between Hotels.com and the hotel was non existent,my reservationwas not received by Avoca ,I think hotels.com is to blame here.Security guards at the establishment were very rude and unfriendly. Rooms were very comfortable and clean,the establishment was very peaceful "

"It was amazingly beautiful. The views of the surroundings in the afternoon and morning with the sun going down and rising are breathtaking. One can hike the mountain for viewpoint of the whole farming area. The staff is fun-tastic. The only thing is the staff's noise as they stay at the back of the guest rooms. "

"On arrival there are no towels. The WiFi was not working. No DStv I had to connect my own using my own data. The geyser was not working and had to go shower at another room "

"If you like rustic settings and a Natural African experience this is the place to stay.. Its remote, its natural, Its rustic and its wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to help and be of assistance. We had to leave very early one morning so the prepared us a take-away breakfast. I would highly recommend this experience as one of a lifetime"
