"Stunning beautiful hotel! Lovely staff and great pool area! Rooftop is also amazing of an evening. We had a seaview and I definitely recommend the upgrade! One morning was was woken by building works on the rooftop and it was usually loud in the mornings due to the rearranging of furniture. Perfect area also it's close to everything and far enough from the Nightlife!"

"Absolutley loved this hotel. Very clean and all the staff were very friendly. Room was gorgeous, spotless and had a well stocked mini bar, bathrobes and slippers. We had a room with a jacuzzi tub which worked perfectly and overlooked a bay view. The sister hotel was also amazing, and we tried a few Hugo restaurants which were also 10/10, especially the pan Asian one! Area is VERY busy, and is quite loud at night but our room had good soundproofing on the windows which kept most of the night out....

There were two main areas that have impacted our rating of the hotel. The first is the arrangements for using the pool at the owners other venue, Xara Lodge. "The hotel is conveniently located for visiting other parts of Malta and there are some good restaurants within walking distance. The rooms could be good but ours had a faulty TV, a socket not attached to the wall properly, the lamp above the bed was broken, one wardrobe door didn’t close properly and the lighting in the bathroom was insufficient. "Beautiful boutique hotel, the staff can't do enough to help and the breakfast is excellent. Within walking distance (as long as you don't mind a lot of steps) of all the Valetta sights and plenty of great restaurants and bars, can't think of any reason to choose anywhere else! "
