Hotel is is like a different species with beatiful garden and swimming pool. Staff is great, breakfast is very good, rooms are big and very clean. It is a grwatbplace to stay if you need to stay in a big city. Fee steps from the hotel thwre is a shopping center. "

"This was a trip to Puerto Cayo. Puerto Cayo is a very very very sleepy little village west of Jipijapa. You have to want to go there. There has to be a reason. Otherwise, most people head to Frailes or up to Manta. If you want quiet and no people -- not cars in the streets or motorcycles making noise, then Puerto Cayo is for you. It's a beautiful and empty 5 mile long beach. Maybe 20 boats out every morning looking for fish. Whales are littler yards away migrating up or down the coast. It's incredibly peaceful"
