"Als Familie ist es ein toller Ort, um ein paar entspannte Tage zu verbringen. Allerdings ist man wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen, denn im nahen Ortskern gibt es außer ein paar, bei uns leider geschlossenen Geschäften nichts nennenswertes. Außerhalb der Saison ist es außerdem schwierig, Aktivitäten im näheren Umkreis zu finden. Da hilft natürlich das inkludierte Schwimmbad, das allerdings auch oft zu gut besucht ist. "Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. The breakfast included in the room was decent - perhaps not as good as in some larger hotels but it would be unfair to expect them to provide as much variety in such a small hotel - and the made to order choose your eggs was a nice touch. "My 5 day stay was ideal for what I needed. Peace, Quiet, and close to nature. I started each morning with a jog down the lake before breakfast. The restaurant was the best food I ate in Europe. The converted early 1900's barn was a touch of old Germany that really added to my trip, which up until this point I had been staying at typical American style hotels. If you are looking for a getaway for serenity, relaxation and a little exercise - this is the place."
