"Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "The renovations are nice. We thought the beds were too soft and the room heating was tricky. It was either too cold or too hot. We wish the restaurant and/or room service were more extensive. We arrived after 9pm and there was no food available. "
