"We arrived in the evening with another couple (we rented both Casitas) and there was only a key for one of them. Contacted the owner and they sent someone to bring the key to the other Casita about an hour later. The Casita had not been cleaned and we had to wait for it to be cleaned before we could bring our bags in. "The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing."

"This place truly had it all Beautiful home and property- spacious and lovely environment to hang out inside or outside Wonderful staff- Elias and Betty were so kind and attentive, gave great recommendations, anticipated our needs and went above and beyond DELICIOUS food- seriously some of the best meals we’ve eaten, for every single meal. "We stayed in the family house and it was very clean with tons of room. The staff was extremely helpful. Pool was very nice and refreshing. The property is at the top of the steep hill so if you do not have a car and are not very active, you might find it difficult to walk back up the hill, but it’s easy to get a taxi, It very walkable into the main part of San Ignacio if you are of average fitness. Highly recommend this place for families and larger groups."

"All of the staff and Chef Joe were fantastic. All of the food was fantastic and a great variety. Plenty of hot water. Excellent family resort could not ask for a better place to stay. All of the staff were fantastic and went over and above to make sure our stay was fantastic. Whether a couple or family this was an excellent choice for the perfect vacation or getaway. We would definitely recommend this as a place to go for all of our family and friends. Can't wait to go back. "

Loved it!

"The front desk was extra helpful in arranging transportation to outings and to the airport. They are very service oriented. The lodge is definitely a unique place of cabins in a jungle atmosphere with beautiful plants, but close to town. The 5 of us stayed in a 3BR family cabin. Two of us took advantage of having massages in their cute little spa, which was great. We ate dinner and most breakfasts at their little restaurant. Very good food."
