"The space was ample. The best part about it is the screened in kitchen and dining area. The beach is not far and there are grocery stores and vegetable shops a minute away. We had a bumpy start which was resolved only after 21/2 hours on the phone with VRBO. The owner charged us for an extra night. This caused confusion and inconvenience to our host who was led to believe that we were arriving a day earlier than we had agreed upon. Luis, the caretaker, and his wife were wonderful. They were really helpful, and we enjoyed meeting them and their son. "Nice location right on the lagoon. The pods are good - there’s lights, electric sockets and a fan. The openings to our pod were ripped and the zip handles damaged and a little difficult to open and close. The light breakfast was good. "

"The pool is very far from the room. Sliding doors don’t close properly allowing mosquitos to come in. I don’t blame the staff. They are very friendly and tried to help however this property doesn’t look like anything advertised. The bed is made of cement and the mattress is hard. We can’t sit on the porch due to bats droppings and smells of bats. "
