We managed to explore the area a little including Châlus and the Perigord-Limousin National park but we were also really happy to hang out by the pool all day too. "Overall a nice stay, room is clean and comfortable and the staff are lovely, really polite and helpful. It's only lost a star for me because the gym isn't really a gym, it's a treadmill and cross trainer in reception but the treadmill wasn't even working during my stay. Also it would have been helpful for the hotel to provide instructions on where the parking is as I struggled to locate it, and this made arrival to the hotel a little stressful."

"Lady on reception when arrived was lovely, the lady on saturday and sunday morning was not even friendly, like she didn't want to be there and when we asked for more bread as this had run out at breakfast, its like it was too much trouble for her and she was miserable. Location was good 5 mins to train/bus station and about 10 mins to the centre. Bathroom was dirty, room was basic but ok and window opened wide, which was good. The door do slam shut so this was noisy at night sometimes. Overall...

"This is a charming property! Once we received our entry code, understood parking, and realized we had to push REALLY hard to open the room door after entering code (I felt like I was breaking in), it is truly a lovely space. Be prepared to walk up additional stairs if on 3rd level, as the lift only serves to 2nd floor. They were most accommodating with our dietary restrictions for breakfast offerings, and evening restaurant suggestions were walkable and delicious! We shall stay again when in...
